The Rotary Club of Sydney (https://www.facebook.com/RotaryClubSydney) is set to champion yet another noble cause – ending violence against women. In observance of the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women activism, the two-part initiative by the club’s Peace Building Group is hosting a crucial conference on 25 November, followed by a grand public gathering on 1 December, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to a world where women live free from violence.

The UNiTE conference promises to be a dynamic solution-oriented platform that combines the expertise of keynote speakers, frontline workers, and the brave voices of survivors. Specifically, the conference is anchored in high-level, solutions-oriented discussions that includes a ‘Meeting of the Minds’ panel from academia, industry and government agencies.
Beyond the insightful discussions, there will be a lunch buffet giving attendees the opportunity to network and further discuss solutions.
