Past RI Director Noel Trevaskis honours a Rotary hero and urges all Rotarians to get behind The Sir Clem Renouf Polio Appeal.
Part of being a Rotarian is aspiring to make the world a better place. One Rotarian who truly delivered on this promise was Sir Clem Renouf, who passed away on 11 June.
Clem hailed from Nambour, Qld, and was president of Rotary International in 1978-79. However, he will perhaps be longest remembered for the pivotal role he played in helping rid the world of polio.
If you would like to honour the life of this amazing man, Noel, along with Rotary International Past Presidents Bill Boyd from New Zealand and Ian Riseley from Australia, as well as RI Director-elect Jessie Harman, urge you to consider supporting the cause Sir Clem was so passionate about – End Polio Now.
These four Rotary leaders have established The Sir Clem Renouf Polio Appeal to help Sir Clem’s dream become a reality. For details, please visit https://www.dropbox.com/s/pt03tzanf89kawc/TSCRPA_Flyer_EP.docx?dl=0
