We had originally scheduled ‘Top Tipples’ doing good in the world for this month’s The Good Life – which we could probably all do with – but incoming RI Director Jessie Harman says we need Rotary more than Riesling in these uncertain times, so we listened.
“It seems to me that the world needs Rotary now more than ever. I can’t bear the idea that we might inadvertently ‘shut down’ in these difficult times,” says Jessie.
“RDU is really our best national platform for exchanging ideas and showcasing best practice. I’ll bet there are already clubs and districts that have made some terrific adaptations to enable them to continue doing what they do best despite COVID-19.”
