Creativity & Innovation

Observed six days after Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday, World Creativity and Innovation Day (#WCID) is well-positioned to encourage creative, multidisciplinary thinking to help us achieve the sustainable future we work so hard for.

Creativity and innovation, at both the individual and group level, has become the true wealth of nations in the 21st century, according to the findings of the special edition of the Creative Economy Report Widening local development pathways, co-published by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) and the UN Development Program (UNDP) through the UN Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC).
